Harris Dale Scheer, 73, of Fargo died Thursday April 15, 2010 at Triumph Hospital in Fargo. Burial will be at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in rural Hamberg, ND Sunday April 18th at 2:00 p.m. and a memorial service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo at 11:00 A.M. Monday April 19th.

Harris was born in Harvey, ND July 31, 1936. He grew up in Hamberg, ND and graduated in 1954 from Fessenden High. He served in the US Army from 1956 till 1960. He moved to Fargo and attended Interstate Business College and was employed by FRS Industries as an engraver later becoming a partnered owner.

He married Lenora (Linda) Lundquist on March 20, 1965. Harris is survived by his sister Phyllis Kautz (Cottage Grove, OR), his brother Edward W. Scheer (Aberdeen, SD), his wife Linda and their 5 children: Dr. Kurtis D. Scheer (Sturgeon Bay WI), Rev. Anton W. Scheer (Garden Grove, CA), Steven B. Scheer (Fargo), Michael J. Scheer (Fargo), Robert A. Scheer (Fargo), and 8 grandchildren.
