Carrie E. Abbott, 98, of New Lebanon, Ohio, formerly of West Union, died Monday March 22, 2010, at New Lebanon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Abbott was born June 29, 1911 the daughter of the late John and Ella (Dowdy) Craycraft in Tigert, Kentucky.
Mrs. Abbott was a member of Satterfield Chapel Church and the Satterfield Chapel Ladies Aide. She also attended Adams County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley D. Grooms and Harry of New Lebanon, Donna Pistole and Winson of West Union, a son, Norman Abbott and Naomi of Wheelersburg, Ohio, a daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Abbott of Dayton, Ohio, a sister, Lillian Little of Ashland, Ky., a brother, Paul Craycraft of Ashland, Ky., nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
