Kermith Branyord & Monetta were married on May 14, 1934 in Des Moines; Polk County, Iowa. The couple had lived in Radcliff and Alden before moving to Webster City. The couple owned the K & M Laundry & Dry Cleaners from 1954 – 1970. Monetta volunteered at RSVP and Southfield Care Center. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a women's circle member. Monetta L. (Strauser) Branyord, age 92, passed away on Friday; December 4, 2009 at the Hamilton Hospital in Webster City; Hamilton County, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her three daughters Donna Otto of West Des Moines, IA, Vonnie & Paul Pruismann of Webster City & Kay Ubben of Stratford, IA; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; sister Wilma & Grant Moore of Oklahoma; brother-in-law Dean & Alma Branyord of Webster City; sister-in-law Gladys Branyord of Story City & numerous nieces & nephews. Monetta was preceded in death by her husband, two great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. May they rest in peace.
