Lifelong Shidler resident Bobby G. Vogele passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010 at his home. He was 69 years old. Bobby was born June 2, 1940 in Shidler, the son of Eugene and Ruby (Brown) Vogele. A dozer operator, Bobby owned and operated Vogele Construction. He was the 1983 World Champion Old Timer Bullrider. Bobby was also well-known as a rodeo stock contractor. He was a member of the Church of God in Webb City.
Surviving are: Cindy, of the home; his children; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; and a host of other family and friends.
Bobby will lie in state at the Church of God in Webb City. Funeral services will be held there on Wednesday, April 21, at 2:00 PM. Bro. Charles Richie will officiate. Interment in the Foraker Cemetery.
