Marvin had served with the National Guard. He attended the Mt. Vernon Nazarene Church. He is survived by his wife Patty; two sons, Keith Goodwin and Randy Goodwin both of Mt. Vernon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and David Goldman of Poseyville, Tiffany Patrick of Mt. Vernon and Holly and Richard Bradley of Mt. Vernon; one grandson Andrew Goldman; five brothers, David Goodwin of Evansville, Jimmy Goodwin of Mt. Vernon, Johnny Goodwin of Mt. Vernon, Clinton Goodwin of Mt. Vernon and Walter McRoy of Fairfield, CA; four sisters, Julie Becker, Jenny Hogan, Mary Cooney all of Mt.Vernon and Amy Ewer of Hartford City, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 11 a.m until time of service
