Two are killed in separate car accidents
Sikeston - Two New Madrid County residents were killed in separate automobile accidents over the weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports at 10:05 p.m. Saturday, in New Madrid County at Route FF, five miles north of Matthews, an accident occurred as James C. Rose, 62 of Matthews ran his vehicle off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Rose was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by New Madrid County Coroner Tim Clayton and was transported to Shelby Funeral home in East Prairie.

Arrangement are pending at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
