Maggie L. Adams, 73, R.R.1, Batesville, Ind., died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1990 in the Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville, Ind.

She was born May 18, 1916 in Whitesburg, Ky., the daughter of William and Arminda Hawkins Cornett. On April 3, 1931, she married Albert Adams, and he survives.

In addition to her husband she is survived by seven sons, Ben Adams, Greensburg, James Adams, Columbus, Ohio, Bill Adams, Port Charlotte, Fla., Floyd Adams, Napoleon, Ind., Woody Adams, St. Leon, Ind., Kenny Adams, Sunman, Ind., and Harlan Adams, Batesville, Ind.; three daughters, Virginia Keller, Millhousen, Mrs. Donald (Mae) Vaughn, Batesville, Ind., and Mrs. Tommy (Sue) Trent, New Point; two sisters, Nancy Lucas, Columbus, Ohio, and Ada Stallard, Whitesburg, Ky.; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nead and Clark Funeral Home, Osgood, Ind.

Burial will be in South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Any memorials may go to Rescue 69.
