Mr. Duncan was born in Chicago. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station after 15 years of service and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth in Portsmouth and was a former member of the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth J. Duncan; and one son, Michael E. Duncan of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church South Portsmouth by the Rev. Warren E. Amlett. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Viewing will begin at noon today in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday.
