OBIT: Erick Israel died at this home southeast of town Monday morning, December 21st. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Swedish Lutheran Church, interment being made in the south cemetery. Mr Israel was 71 years of age. He immigrated from Sweden in 1869, making his home in Burlington, Iowa, one year. He moved to Montgomery County in the spring of 1870, where he resided until his death.
