Mrs. Monte Starr's Daughter Is Called
Martha Catherine Starr, 4, Dies Of Ear Infection; Funeral Thursday
Martha Catherine Starr, four-year-old daughter of Mrs. Monte Starr, died at 7:30 a.m. today at her home in Chester township, following an illness since Sunday. Her death was due to an infection of the ear.
The child was born July 29, 1935 in Chester township to Monte and Ada Barrington Starr. The father was killed in an automobile accident on Nov. 19, 1936.
Surviving are the mother and a brother, Eli Starr, at home. Another brother, Junior, died Sept. 2, 1929.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Blanche Chapel church in charge of Rev. George McKinley, of Keystone. Burial will be in the McFarren cemetery.
