Violet was born the daughter of Owen and Loretta Davis. Violet was an accountant who loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed her garden of oranges, roses and vegetables. Violet also enjoyed growing hibiscus flowers known in Jamaica as the "Shoe Black". She also enjoyed playing dominos and computer games in her spare time. Violet was preceded in death by her father, Owen Davis. Survivors include her mother, Loretta Davis; her husband who she started dating at the age of 19 and was married for 17 years to, Anthony Bell; children, Taylor Jermaine St. Patrick Bell and Ashley Toni-Ann Bell; brother, Keith Davis (Maxine); sisters, Verona McFarlane, Selena Hayle (Patrick) and Sandra Morris-Thomas (Antowan).
