Betty Austin, 86 of Providence died Friday, June 12 at Shemwell Nursing Home in Providence.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of the Sanctuary choir and Alpha Pakendall Ladies Club.
She is survived by one sister, Cora McGaw of Madisonville and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 from Melton Funeral Home with Rev. Desmond Hargis officiating.
Burial was in Big Hill Cemetery.
