Mrs. Sarah Manious Wellinger, West Church Street, widow of George H. Wellinger, died at her home yesterday at 10:15 p.m., after an illness of ten days. She was 80 years old.
Born and reared in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of John and Indiana (Eichelberger) Manious, and spent her entire life here. She had been ill for ten days.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Louise Green, Mrs. Frances Shannon, Mrs. Jane Kendle, Hagerstown; Misses Pearl L., Mary I., Helen M., Anna Catherine, at home; sons, Fred J., W. Allen, Hagerstown; brothers, Charles Manious, Hagerstown; John Manious, Vineland, N.J.; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The body was taken to the Suter Funeral Home, where the service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. Edward P. Heinze officiating, with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
