Lulie Esta Davis Services Saturday

Mrs. Lulie Esta Davis, wife of Samuel Frederic Davis, 1422 W. Kansas Ave. died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after a serious Illness of three weeks. She was born in Ripley County, Ind., Mar. 7, 1884, the daughter of Albert and Sarah Waters Brown. She married Samuel F. Davis Nov. 16, 1902 at Split Log, Mo., and the couple came to this city 40 years ago from Roger Mills County, Okla.

She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Sam Davis Jr., 426 N. Seventh St., and Bill Davis, 1013 N. Ninth St., two daughters, Mrs. Marie (Homer) Crager, 1402 W. Kansas Ave., and Mrs. Celesta (W.R.) Flanigan, Pacific Grove, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Black, and a brother, Emerson Brown, both of Joplin, Mo.; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mabel, a son, Clarence, a grandson, Forrest Flanigan and a sister.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Jess Rindt chapel with the Rev. Clifford L. Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
