Bernice Long Casteel, of 6080 Hwy. 411 South Madisonville, formerly of Englewood and Kingston passed away 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Baptist Medical Center. She was 68. She was a member of Chestua Methodist Church. Daughter of the late Earl and Edith Long. Preceded in death by brother-Harl Long. Survivors: husband - Sherman Casteel with whom she shared 47 years of marriage; daughter and son-in-law - Vicki and Teddy Jackson of Marietta, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law - Steve and Zelma Casteel of Kingston; grandchildren - Jamee and Shannan Casteel of Kingston, and Stephanie and Joey Jackson; loving sister - Donzella Whitlock of Madisonville; brothers - Carl Long of Mobile, Ala.; Bob Long of Madisonville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and aunts; an extended family of several sisters -in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral services were 8 p.m. Tuesday in Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Cecil Baxter, Rev. Adam Love. and Harlan Daugherty offici ating. Interment is 11 a.m. today in Chestua Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
