William A. Hall, Jr., was born in Prospect, New York, September 27, 1851, and passed away at the home of Morris Anderson in Nelson, Nebraska, June 1, 1939; aged 87 years, 8 months and 5 days.

When a young man he moved with his parents from New York to Kirdwood, Illinois, later moving to Oak, Nebraska.

He was married to Sarah Wade, and their home was blessed with one son, Chas. E. Hall of Coopertown, New York. Mrs. Hall passed away in the spring of 1898.

He was married to Mrs. Sarah Zeigler in 1902, and she passed away at her home in Nelson in 1936 (sic) (NOTE: she passed away in 1935). Mr. Hall leaves to mourn his departure, one son, C.E. Hall and four grandchildren of Coopertown, New York. He has been a Methodist for a number of years.

The funeral service was held at the Klawitter funeral home at ten a.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. C. foust of the Christian church (sic). Burial was in the cemetery at Oak.
