Charles A. "Chuck" Ballew, son of the late Tony and Zadie (Hendershot) Ballew.
Chuck served in the US Navy from 1945 to 1948 and then in the US Air Force from 1948 to 1952.
He married Edith Norris on July 19, 2009, and she survives.
Funeral service were held November 8, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO.
In addition to his loving wife, Chuck is survived by three children: Lola Dialoiso, Charles Ballew, and Patty Ballew; four step children: Butch Mitchell, Patty Maybrey, Ruthann Bates and Juanita Wilmeth; one brother: Jesse Ballew; four grandchildren: Joey Dialoiso, Jacob Dialoiso, Chaska Welth and Chyenne Ballew, as well as many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Sharon, three brothers, one sister, a child in infancy, parents and his stepfather.
