Mrs. Letha Lorene Cox McGreevy, 82, died in Indiana Veterans Home Hospital at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. She had been a resident of the home several years and hospitalized three weeks. Born in Turon, Kansas, she was reared in the Ash Grove community but spent most of her life in the Lafayette area. In 1911 she was married to William Frederick "Tom" McGreevy. He was a drayman before his death in 1951. Mrs. McGreevy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, VFW, Post 1154 Auxilliary, Royal Neighbors of America, and Triumph Rebekah Lodge. She was a Gray Lady at St. Elizabeth Hospital a number of years. Surviving are two sons, William Jesse McGreevy of Lafayette and John A. McGreevy of Danville, Ill, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Eva B. Speer, Lafayette, three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Rayman of Lafayette, Mrs. Sadie Ames of Miller, S. D., Mrs. E. A. (Dora)Petterson of Olympia, Wash. and one brother, Alfred L. Cox of Cosmopolitan, Wash.
