Aldelbert Thomas Cookingham, 84, died yesterday at his home, Long Pond Rroad, Schultzville. For many years he operated a concession at Long Pond. Born in the town of Clinton, Jan. 21, 1873, Mr. Cookingham was the son of Thomas and Jane Lent Cookingham. A farmer, he was a member of the Silver Lake Grange, the Schultzville Christian church and the West Clinton Fire Co. He attended the Pleasant Plains Presbyterian church. His wife was the former Mattie Rhynus Cookingham. Surviving are a son, Harry L. Cookingham; a brother, Llewellyn Cookingham, and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services are scheduled at 2:30 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon, at the Allen Funeral home, Pleasant Valley. Burial will be in the Schultzville cemetery.
