WEST POINT--Final rites for Ann Rene Dyer, 16, West Point, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic church, West Point.
The Rev. Francis Lenoch will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, West Point.
Miss Dyer was killed early Sunday, March 28, in a single-car accident on Highway 218/(27) near the junction with Highway 103 (J40) west of West Point.
She was born Aug. 7, 1959. She was a lifelong resident of the West Point area and was a junior at Marquette Hight School, West Point, and a member of St. Mary's church. She was a member of the school's band and drill team and played softball for Warriorettes last fall.
She had made her home with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Dyer of near West Point.
Surviving are her father, Harold Dyer, West Point; a brother, Greg Dyer, West Point; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Lord, Burlington, and Mrs. Fred Dyer, West Point.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Lord Dyer, who died April 24, 1963, of injuries received in a traffic accident four days earlier.
The body was to be taken from Link Funeral Home at 4 this afternoon to the Marquette high school gymnasium where rosaries will be recited at 8 this evening and 8 Tuesday evening. The body will remain in the Marquette gymnasium until time for the services.
