Services for L.F. Evans, 77, were officiated by E.M. Borden, Jr., minister of the Eastside Church of Christ in Graham.
Mr. Evans moved to Texas with his parents when a small boy living first in the Belknap community. He had lived near Eliasville since 1910. He was a stock farmer and rancher.. He moved to Graham six months before his death.
L.F. Evans married Nancy Lula Martin on 12 November 1901 at Young County, Texas.
Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. C.D. Williams of Eliasville; three sons - Carl Evans, Leonard Evans and Dillard Evans; eight grandchildren; one sister - Mrs. Edna Hughes.
