OBITUARY:
Charles G. JENSEN, 56, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at Poudre Valley Hospital. A funeral service will be held at a later date at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley, Kansas. Cremation will be completed. Charles was born November 30, 1945 in Spearville, Kansas to Leonard and Matilda (REID) JENSEN. He graduated from Spearville High School in 1964. He married Vicki BURKHART on February 24, 1968 at St. Mary's in Hodgeman County, Kansas. They lived in Dodge City, Kansas before moving to Fort Collins in 1979. He was employed at K&C R.V. in Longmont for the past eleven years. Charles served in the Navy from 1964 to 1967, serving in two tours during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Blessed John XXIII Church. He collected baseball memorabilia and loved Roy Orbison Music. He fought a brave courageous battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Vicki JENSEN; son and daughter, Jay and Jodi JENSEN all of Fort Collins, CO; sisters, Karen STEGMAN of Wright, KS and Darlene TASSET of Springfield, IL; granddaughter, Jordain JENSEN; and grandson, Taylor JENSEN of Louisiana. His parents preceded him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Foothills Gateway in care Reager Funeral Home and Crematory, 1530 Riverside Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
