Nancy Woodfield was born at Lafayette, Indiana, March 18, 1844, and passed away at her home near Kirwin, Kansas, November 20, 1928, 84 years, 8 months and 2 days old.

At an early age she was converted and has always lived a devout Christian life.

On October 5, 1869, she was united in marriage to Jessie Dickens, of Lafayette, Indiana. To this union was born two sons and one daughter. The daughter preceded her to the other life March 13, 1922. She leaves to mourn this loss two sons, Schuyler of Portland, Oregon, and Charles of this place; one sister, six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends.

She died of a massive hemorrhage and bled to death.
