FRANK HAZEN CARKHUFF-53: Kinsman, was killed Saturday night [3-27] in an auto accident north of Vernon. Born 16 Feb 1906 in Westford, a son of Ray & Lana Patterson Carkhuff, he married the former Mabel Free 5 Oct 1933, she died in 1943. MrCarkhuff was an employee of AG Birrell Co-Kinsman for 27 years. He was a member of Kinsman Volunteer Fire Dept.
He is survived by 3 sis: Bertha (SP-Jay) Brall-Austin-burg; Margaret (SP-Jack) Rodgers-Niles; Agnes Carkhuff-Meadville; a bro: John Carkhuff-Kinsman & a step-granddau. A stepson-Robert Free preceded him in death.
Service will be held Tuesday afternoon [3-30] at McCurdy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
