Loventrice was nicknamed "Trigger" by her father, Elmer Fines Burns, when she was approximately 2 1/2 years old. She was running fast through the house, and he said, "Look at that Trigger go!" He died March 17, 1932. The name has stuck with her for her entire life. For a long time, our relatives & friends did not know her real name, Loventrice. Also, her nickname was "LOVE." Her bowling friends could not say Loventrice so they called her "LOVE." She died of cancer in 1997. While in the hospital her daughter Pam took the cards her friends sent her and hung them on the wall in the shape of the words LOVE for her to view. She was an avid quilter, sewing, bowler, and collector of thimbles.
