Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday with the family in attendance from 5:00 p. m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope.
Mr. Euing died Aprill 16, 2010, at his home in Hobbs. He was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Paducah, Texas. He married Annette Sandlin Euing on Nov. 18, 1950, in Paducah.
Ed moved to Hobbs in September 1950. He was the owner of Packer Sales and Rental from 1976 until his retirement in 1997. Ed was a member of the Hobbs Bass Club, Chapparral Square Dance Club and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and was a dedicated and respected man in the oil and gas industry. "Big Ed" had a wonderful sense of humor and a great work ethic. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
He was a member of the Taylor Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Euing of Hobbs; a son, Brad Euing of Hobbs; two daughters, Becky Johnson and husband Gary of Hobbs, and Cynthia Cox of Hobbs; four grandchildren, Lyndsy Purvis and husband Joshua, Chestley Johnson, Jill Hair and husband Randy, and Tyler Cox and wife Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Jessie and Carter Purvis and Creed Cox.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
