Friends of Mrs Myrtle Weber Avery were greatly grieved to learn of her death at her home in Seattle, Washington, July 31, 1914. Mrs Avery will be remembered by many in Osage City as the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Weber who at one time had a store in the building now occupied by the post office.

Myrtle Weber was born 36 years ago at Osage City, Kansas. With her parents she went to reside in Hamilton, in 1898. She attended the University of Montana and graduated with the class of 1903. She was married to Charles E Avery, a young attorney in Missoula and has made her home in that city until they went to Seattle last winter.

Mrs Avery is survived by her husband, a son, Earl, who is 7 years old, a daughter, Gladys 11 months old, her parents, Mr and Mrs John Weber of Missoula, Montana, a brother, Charles B Weber and be a grandmother, Mrs Cynthia Smith of Kansas. Mrs Avery was a member of the Methodist church of Missoula. Interment was made in the Missoula cemetery.August 13, 1914 Osage City (Kansas) Free Press
