Mrs. Martha Aby, born near Roxbury on Aug. 24, 1841, nee Reed, died June 14 at her home in Shippensburg, following a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Aby was twice married, first to Wm. F. DeHaven who died after a wedded life of eleven months; second to John W. Aby, also of Franklin County. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shoap, and two sons, William DeHaven and Edward Aby. Mrs. Aby was a member of the United Brethren church from her early youth.
