Mr. Barco, a native of Princess Anne County, had retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Virginia Beach after 25 years. He was the widower of Iva Creech Barco and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Irma Leatherwood, and two brothers, Arthur Barco and Benjamin Barco, all Virginia Beach.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. J. Scottie Griffin. Friends may join the family from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel.
