Black Mountain – Frank Ogle, 48, of Dunsmore Avenue in Ridgecrest, died Sunday.
A native of Yancey County, he was a former employee of City Auto in Roanoke, Va., and had been a resident of Black Mountain for a number of years.
Surviving are his wife, Lynette Allison Ogle; a son, Frank Ogle Jr. of West Asheville; a daughter, Lois Messer of Marshall; a stepdaughter, Lucille Strickland of Swannanoa; four sisters, Geneva Talbi of West Asheville, Frances Cuomo and Gladys Smith of Swannanoa, and Jewell Dean Hensley of black Mountain; and a brother, John Ogle of Stafford, Va.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Melton will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
