Peleg Cole died this morning at 8 o'clock at his home, No. 121 Flordia avenue, from the stroke of paralysis which he suffered on Thursday of last week. For two years Mr. Cole has not been in the best of health and was unable to recover from the last severe attack of the disease which caused his death. The deceased was fifty years of age. By trade he was a mason, but for the past few years he had followed the occupation of teamster. He was a member of Post E. S. Yong, No. 33, G. A. R., having served in Company I, 142nd regiment, New York volunteer infantry, in the Civil War.
He is survived by his widow, one son, Harry Cole, of this city; one daughter, Mrs. Albert Ochampaugh, of Glen; four brothers, Herman, Parma, NY, Harmon, Holly, NY, and Hiram and William J. of this city; two sisters, Mrs. John Humphrey, Duanesburgh, and Mrs. A.S. MacCarthy of this city. Five grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house, and will be private.
