RAY BURROW
Ray Burrow, son of Lewis Anderson Burrow and Mary Elizabeth Williams Burrow, was born near Collins, Missouri on April 29, 1903. He departed this life at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, on May 8, 1992, at the age of 89.

Ray was a lifelong St. Clair County resident engaging in farming most of his life. He later drove a school bus for the Lowry City School District.

He was united in marriage to Ruth Bourland on October 31, 1926 and they had 61 years together before she went to her heavenly home. They had one son, Delbert Ray Burrow and wife Jo of Lowry City. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Stephen Ray Burrow of Lowry City, David Wayne Burrow and wife Debbie of Brownington, Lori Goans of Belton, Brandon Burrow of Lowry City, Angela Arruda of Riverside, CA, Steven Hawkins and wife Candi of Lowry City, David Hawkins of Monegaw Springs and Craig Hawkins and wife Annette of Dalton, GA; six great grandchildren, Jon Burrow, Aspen and Davin Burrow, Aja Arruda, Alyssa Hawkins and Alivia Hawkins.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, Lee, Emery, Charley (Penny), Melvin (Mutt), and Cecil, three sisters, Buelah Greathouse, Juanita Fitzhugh and Gracie Burrow.
Also surviving are his twin brother Roy of El Dorado Springs; brothers, Stewart (Cass) of Independence and Virgil of Nampa, ID, and two sisters, Marian Gillett of Kenosha, WI, and Iona Moore of Osceola; hundreds of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ray was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. His family brought him much happiness. He spent many happy hours watching his grandchildren grow up and took great pride in them.

Services were Monday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel. Rev. Steve Elsey officiated.

Music was provided by Dale Weese, vocalist, accompanied by Mrs. Jo Belisle.
Casket bearers were: Jack Lysinger, Clyde Keith, Walt Conrad, Dale Atchison, Leroy Russell, and Jimmy Lysinger.

Interment was in Lowry City Cemetery.
