MRS. VIRGINIA BELLE HARNEY
After long weary months of untold suffering from an incurable and insidious disease eternal rest came to Mrs. Virginia B. Harney early Saturday morning. She was born in Rockville 75 years ago to George Washington and Elizabeth (Apple) VanFossan and most of her life was passed in the vicinity of Mansfield and in Union township. She had lived in Bridgeton ten years and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She had many lovable qualities. She was the widow of the late James Shelby Harney and is survived by nieces and nephews. Brief funeral services were held at the residence at 10 o'clock Monday morning. F. W. Day officiating. Mr. and Mrs. James McHargue with Mrs. Wayne Day athe organ, sang two appropriate hymns and an obituary was read. Burial was made in the Martin cemetery near Ferndale.
