Arlene A. Capitanio, 63, of 3678S 400E, Bringhurst, Indiana, died at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 26, 2006, at her residence.
Born in Massachusetts on Dec. 25, 1942, she was the daughter of Frank and Clara Westfahl Wade. She attended Williams High School in Stockbridge, Mass.
Her marriage was to George S. Capitanio Sr. on Dec. 11, 1965 in Muncie, and he survives.
Mrs. Capitanio worked at the Mara Mart in Burlington.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Hattie L. Capitanio of Lafayette and Brenda A. Capitanio of New Ross; two sons, George Capitanio Jr. (wife: Sherry) of Rossville and Brad A. Capitanio of Alabama; a brother, Bruce Westfahl (wife: Teresa) of Jacksonville, Ark.; a sister, Alza Cheek (husband: Fred) of Beebe, Ark.; nine grandchildren, W. Allen Pumphrey III and Ashley N. Pumphrey, both of Bringhurst, Michael Capitanio and Katie Capitanio, both of Flora, Brandi Capitanio of Rossville, Tashottia Capitanio of Deer Creek, Mathew B. McGill of New Ross, Devan Capitanio of Alabama, and Levi Crouch of West Lafayette; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey Beard and Hunter Simpson, both of Bringhurst.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Wade.
Services were Sunday at Stout & Son Funeral Home in Russiaville. Burial was at Asbury Cemetery in Carroll County.
