He retired from GM in 1985 after 39 years. He was a member of the Amvets Post 692 in Anderson. Bud had spent the past 19 years in Madison County enjoying his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. His favorite hobby was riding his motorcycle. He covered all 48 states. He was a member of the Retread Motorcycle Club and GWRRA for many years. He was also known as a "computer geek." Bud married Roberta J. "Bobbie" Harvey on May 19, 1947 in Anderson. They had been married for 61 years.

Funeral Service Time and Day: Friends and family are invited to attend a time of celebration of Bud's life and memory on Sunday-July 13, 2008 from 4 PM to 6 PM at his residence. (Address has been omitted by request of the family)
