My Great-Grandfather Albert was a well known and respected Farmer of Milton Township, Mulga Region at Mt. Carmel Wellston,Ohio. He was from one of the pioneering families of that area. He was the son of George Washington Phillips 1815-1898 and Mahala Stroud 1827-1859 May 20th. He married Alice Redden in Feburary of 1866. Children: George Washington, William B. Lorenzo Dow, Electa Minvera, Rodney, Samuel, Tessie, Ida, Homer, and Raymond Lucius (Grandfather) Phillips. Daughter Harriett (Hattie) died in early adulthood from T.B. John, Gail, and Edward passed in infancy.
