Mrs. Serelda Cox, 92, died Saturday at 5 p.m. at the home of her son, Rule Cox, Heiskell, Route 1. She is survived by two sons, Rule Cox and W.H. Huff, of Heiskell, Route 1, by a daughter, Mrs. W.P. Carden, of Andersonville, by 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of Dr. Trent O. Huff, of Clinton.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Josiah Demarcus, the Rev. George Demarcus and the Rev. B.H. Bean. Burial took place in the church cemetery.
