Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis E. Bamburg, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Christ Church Chapel in West Monroe with Rev. W. R. Lowe and Rev. Tom Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Luna Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bamburg was born June 7, 1939 in Monroe, LA and passed away on April 14, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Christ Church in West Monroe. Mr. Bamburg was owner and operator of Bamburg Grocery and Bamburg Texaco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Alene Bamburg and sister, Marguerite Carruth.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Saucer Bamburg; children, Michael Scott Bamburg of Michigan, Frederick Josh Bamburg of West Monroe, Samuel Keith Bamburg and his wife, Emily of West Monroe, Tonya Loveless and her husband Glenn of Pearl, MS, Kevin Hislop of Lafayette, LA, Alecia Robertson and her husband Shannon of Winnsboro, LA; brother, Jerry Bamburg of Calhoun, LA; grand-children, Emily Loveless, Austin Loveless, Ayden Keith Bamburg, Courtney Bamburg, Alexis Davidson, Victoria Waguspack and Cheyenne Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Cheek, Jr. Mills, Jason Saucer, Heath Goldman, Josh Goldman, Stevan Bryan, Jeremy Lowe, and Ryan Lowe.
Gene Norton will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2010 at Christ Church in West Monroe.
