Services for Calvin E. Clark, 57, of Newcastle were held at the Hamilton Street Church of Christ with Richard Lunsford, minister of the Newcastle Church of Christ officiating.
Clark was a native of Young County and lived in the county throughout his life except for a several years as a rancher near Muleshoe, Texas.
He married Miss Bessie Cunningham at Olney in 1932.
Survived by his wife; two daughters - Mrs. Andrew Brown of Lubbock and Mrs. Lawrence King of Slaton; his parents - Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Clark of Friona; one sister - Mrs. Coy Eddleman of Newcastle; four brothers - George of Newcastle, Ed and Wayne, both of Friona, Albert of Spearman; four grandchildrne.
Burial was in the Old Olney cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
