Migrated from Illinois to south Texas with his family in 1880s and to Los Angeles about 1914. Father of William Edward Keck, Cora Keck, Lewis Walton Keck, Harold Leslie Keck and Allen Herbert Keck. Died of a bleeding ulcer on May 30, 1923, in Murphy Memorial Hospital, Whittier, Los Angeles County, California, of bleeding ulcers.
