Freida Gladys Baker, 90, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 9, 2002. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 12 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Bro. Joe Pruett officiated, with special music by the Church of Christ Singers.
Mrs. Baker was born Sept. 28, 1912, in Kentucky, the daughter of William and Ruth Branham Privett.
She was a homemaker, and was a member of West Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her stepdaughters, Vada Hollingsworth of Powell, TN, Reva Stafford of New Carlisle, OH, and Freda Ridinger of Carlisle, OH; special friend, Juanita Paul of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Burden and Ben Cash Baker.
Pallbearers were Rusty Hollingsworth, Rodney Hollingsworth, Ken Burgess, Joe Eller, Robin Hall and George Paul.
Hood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
