Alma N. Simpson Braun, 90, born March 1, 1913, passed away Dec. 9, 2003. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Braun; son, Ronald Braun; daughter, Bonnie Squire; three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her sons, David (Shirley) Braun, Roger (Linda) Braun and Larry (Maureen) Braun; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Jo Marie Kimbel.

Alma worked at the Colorado State Hospital as a psych tech for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother who had a wonderful laugh. She enjoyed watching soap operas and reading her daily meditations.

Viewing, 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Friday, George McCarthy Historic Chapel, followed by cremation. Private family inurnment at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, Colo., at a later date.
