Homegoing Services for Ms. Agnes Jewel Thomas, of Atlanta entered into eternal rest with Jesus by her side, will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009, 1:00 P. M. at Antioch A. M. E. Church, 765 South Hairston Avenue, Stone Mountain, with remains placed in state at 11:00 A. M., Reverend Stafford J. Wicker, Pastor, Officiating. Interment Washington Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at the mortuary this evening (Friday) from 7:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
Ms. Thomas was a retired employed for IRS, where she worked for 28 years.
She is survived by daughter, Silica Patrice; son, Philip Antoine; two brothers, Nesby (Lois) and Allen Thomas; two sisters, Gladys Reams and S. Joyce Toliferro; special niece, Shirley Boyce; seventeen nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.
