Funeral services for John Wesley Bosworth, age 81, who died in a local hospital on Wednesday, April 2, were held Friday at Mt. Hope. Rev. Isaac Hinzman was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Mt. Hope cemetery with J. B. Vail in charge.

One of the oldest residents of Trace Fork, Mr. Bosworth was born Jan. 18, 1860. He was united in marriage to Margaret Rowley and to this union twelve children were born. His wife and six children preceded him in death.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. O. H. Weekley of Ravenswood, Mrs. Gertrude Kunsman, of Rochester, Pa., Mrs. Carol Landis of Rochester, Pa., Mrs. Mollie Hoffmyer of Courtland, Ohio, Mrs. Cora Wooley of Salem, Ohio, and a son, George Bosworth, of Rochester, Pa.
