Mrs. Henry Wetzbarger, 71 1204 Iowa St., was dead on arrival Tuesday morning at the Sioux City hospital where she was taken by a Sioux Ambulance after she became ill at home. Mrs. Wetzbarger, the former Frances May Shepherd, was born July 3 1896, at Lake Park Iowa and she was married to Henry Wetzbarger Sept. 26 1914, in Spink County, S.D. Mr. Wetzbarger died in 1953 in Sioux City Iowa. She was a member of the navy mothers. Survivors include six sons, Robert, Darwin, Gerald and Lynn, all of Sioux City Iowa, Myrle of Buena Park California and Elvin of Baltimore MD,; four daughters, Mrs. Verna Bunnell of Sioux City, Mrs. Frances Anderson of Alameda CA., Mrs. Lila Freeman and Ruth Wetzbarger of Park Rapids MN.; three brothers, Charles and Ralph Shepherd of Sioux City Iowa, Neal Shepherd of Cedar Rapids Iowa,; 20 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Perasso Bro. Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Wetzbarger, 71, 1204 Iowa Street, will be at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at the Perasso Bros. Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul H. Heath, pastor of the first Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at 1 P.M. Friday at the Frankfort, S.D. Cemetery.
