She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Lee Collins Braswell. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Austin.
She is survived by two sons: Mr. Mike Austin of Marshville and Mr. Philip Austin and his wife Pamela of Suwanee, Ga. Two daughters: Mrs. Teresa Blackburn and her husband Steve and Cherie Austin all of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. In addition to her children she is survived by seven grandchildren: Julianne Austin, Trevor Austin, Ella Austin, Chad Carpenter, Misty Williams, Paula Stewart, and Justin Traywick; great grandchildren, Luke, Coleman, Morgan and Tyson.
