ANADARKO Funeral for Arlene Sue Wheeler, 63, Anadarko, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Victory Assembly of God with Samuel Ware, pastor, Mike Boyiddle, pastor, Hicks Boyiddle, pastor, and Amon Harjo, pastor, officiating.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Church, 515 E. Virginia, Anadarko.
Sue was reunited with her loved ones in heaven Tuesday, April 13, 2010, in Oklahoma City, with her family by her side.

Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery, Anadarko, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1946, in Lawton, to Wayne and Lola Burgess Miller. She grew up in Anadarko and attended school there. She was a nurse's aide and later a homemaker. She married Davey Wheeler Sr. on June 5, 1966, and they made their home in Carnegie. She was a member of the Comanche Nation and a descendant of the Wichita Tribe. She loved to sew, and was an avid fan of OU, L.A. Lakers, and Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed playing Bingo and the casino. She attended Victory Assembly of God Church, where she loved hearing the pastor's sermons and the church hymns.

She is survived by children: Delores Wheeler, Oklahoma City; David Wheeler Jr, Norman; Susan Wheeler, Bethany; Joseph Wheeler and Darren Wheeler, both of the home; sister, Carol Tober, Lake Wood, Calif.; brothers: Dickie Miller, Anadarko; Prentiss Miller, North Carolina; and Terrell Miller, Anadarko; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer Tanequodle, Alan Wheeler, Reuben Ahhattiy III; Kimberly Ahhaitty, Pamela Ahhaitty, Punkie Ahhaitty, Christopher Robinson, Desha Robinson, Laila Chalepah and Marc Barr; great-grandchildren: Abigail Arlene DeLeon, Caleb Wheeler, Kailee Ahhaitty, Reuben Ray Ahhaitty, Isaiah Horse, Kaleb Horse, Gabrel Redbone and Sadie Robinson; two special friends, Blossom Stephenson and Auggie Maldonado; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Davey Wheeler Sr.; parents: Wayne and Lola Burgess Miller; grandparents: Allen and Ada Yellowfish Burgess, and Houston and Belle Caley Miller; a brother, Darrel Miller Sr; and a nephew, Donnie Menta.

Pallbearers: Alan Wheeler, Reuben Ahhaitty III, Christopher Robinson, Eric Wayne, Desha Robinson and Punkie Ahhaitty.

Honorary: Davey Wheeler Jr., Joseph Wheeler, Darren Wheeler, Dickie Miller, Terrell Miller, Prentiss Miller, Billis Miller Jr., Mike Burgess, Dale Williams and Kendall Kauley.
