Willoughby lived in the area along the Little Niangua River where it crosses from Hickory into Camden County, MO from at least 1850 until his death. He married Elizabeth Ann Moore around 1853. They had at least 10 children, and Willoughby died abt. Feb/Mar 1880 based on his will and probate records. That year his youngest child turned four.

Gravesite Details

Willoughby owned the land on which the Palmer Cemetery is located. The cemetery contains a number of unreadable markers. It is assumed that one of those was Willoughby's.
