ILLUM, BETTY A., 76, of Largo, died Thursday (May 24, 2001) at home. She was born in Wilmington, Ill., and came here in 1969 from Momence, Ill. She worked in retail sales and was Catholic. Survivors include four sons, David L., Fort Collins, Colo., James, Robert S., and Thomas E., all of Fort Myers; six brothers, Donald Brassard, Greenwood, Ill., Lawrence B. Brassard, South Haven, Mich., Raymond Brassard, Seneca, Ill., Bernie Brassard, Spring City, Tenn., David B. Brassard, Ignacio, Colo., and Richard B. Brassard, Channahon, Ill.; three sisters, Vera Nowman, Bradley, Ill., Iona Tedford, Ponderosa, N.M., and Rosemary Irps, Kankakee, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. E. James Reese Funeral Home, Seminole.
