Jose O. Trevino, 78, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died Sept. 15 at United Medical Center-West.

He was born May 21, 1921, in Lyford, Texas, and had lived here since 1944.

Mr. Trevino served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Campaign.

He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, worked as a furniture mover and for Mayflower Moving and Storage for 35 years and then for the state of Wyoming for 5 years.

Mr. Trevino was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Trevino of Cheyenne, whom he married in December of 1944 in Cheyenne; two sons, Joe A. Trevino and Raul E. Trevino, both of Cheyenne; two daughters, Esther Neasloney and Peggy Stumpf, both of Cheyenne; three brothers, Teofilio Trevino and Margarito Trevino, both of Harlingen, Texas, and Ovidio Trevino of Sebastian, Texas; two sisters, Rita Trevino and Leonore Ventacur, both of Harlingen; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Eleanor Trevino and three sisters, Andrita Cavasoz, Oralia Hernandez and Anita Trevino.
